Smokefree Trust

We are smokefree to protect the wellbeing of our service users, staff and visitors.

To create a healthier environment for everyone, all of our sites are smokefree. This means that staff, patients, service users and visitors are not allowed to smoke anywhere on Trust premises – including wards, grounds and vehicles.

We took the decision to go smokefree to protect and improve the health and wellbeing of all service users and employees, visitors and contractors. This decision is supported by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence Public Health guidance which recommends that all hospital sites are smokefree.

We have produced a list of frequently asked questions to help answer some of the questions you may have around our smokefree Trust and what it means for you.
