Parking
Pay on foot parking is available onsite at the hospital and is managed by the NHS trust that runs Whiston Hospital (St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust). This means a ticket is issued to you on arrival and you will need to go to a payment machine to pay and have your ticket validated before leaving the site. You will then need to insert your ticket in the machine at the exit barrier on your way out.

There are six payment machines at Whiston Hospital - two are located within the hospital by the main reception, two can be found on level 5 of the multi storey car park and two are located by the Accident and Emergency Department car park.

Parking charges are £1 per hour, with a maximum charge of £6.

Accessibility
Knowsley Resource and Recovery Centre is a two-storey building with ground-floor access and lift access to the first floor of the building.

No smoking policy
North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is smokefree.  Patients, carers, visitors and staff are not able to smoke anywhere on Trust premises or in vehicles. This includes the buildings, doorways, grounds, car parks and entrances.
