Nurse recruitment events
We hold regular nurse recruitment events when we have a number of nursing vacancies to recruit to. We advertise these events on our latest jobs page and on NHS Jobs, where you will need to apply for the vacancy to secure an interview with us on the day.

We think it's important that you have the chance to ask us any questions you have about our culture, our values, career development opportunities, preceptorships and returning to nursing, so we'll make sure you have plenty of time to talk to us about these on the day and ask other questions you may have.

On the day, you'll have a values based interview with us, which is aligned to our Trust values and NHS England's 6 Cs.

It's important that you use real life examples to demonstrate your experience and skills during the interview. Try to relax and be yourself, as we're keen to find out more about you as a person.

We will also ask some scenario-based questions, so you'll need to think about what steps you would take if you found yourself in different situations at work. Depending on the specialism, we sometimes use role plays or group sessions, but it's very informal and we try to make sure everyone is as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Our interview panels include nursing managers and specialists from across our Trust, as well as other team members, so you'll get the chance to speak to a range of staff on the day.

We also offer preceptorship opportunities for newly-qualified nurses and regularly attend careers fairs at Liverpool John Moores University, Edge Hill Univesity, University of Central Lancashire, University of Salford, University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

If a career in nursing at North West Boroughs Healthcare excites you, keep a look out for our next nurse recruitment event on our latest jobs page. You can also set up alerts by email so you are notified if any suitable vacancies are posted.
