​Staff recognition
We are passionate about making sure our staff receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding contributions to help us deliver our objectives and support our communities to live life well. 

In addition to encouraging regular feedback on an ongoing basis, we formally recognise our staff and teams in the following ways.

Our Stars 
Annual awards ceremony featuring 10 award categories.

Star of the Month and Star Team of the Month
Monthly staff recognition scheme where staff can nominate colleagues – individuals or teams – who deserve special recognition for a job well done.

Recognition cards
Opportunity to say thanks and well done to a colleague by sending them a card with a personalised message.

Staff engagement 
We value the knowledge, experience and expertise of our staff and are committed to creating opportunities to engage with and listen to feedback and ideas to continuously improve the staff experience. Some examples are outlined below.

Core brief 
Our monthly face-to-face briefing cascade includes a discussion topic aimed at encouraging discussion, ideas and feedback to help resolve Trust-wide issues, inform improvements or gauge views.

An online channel for staff to put questions directly to senior leaders.

Our internal network of culture champions help continuously improve how we do things and make the Trust an even better place to work.
