Our Trust charity
As well as being an NHS provider, we are formally registered as a charity.

As well as being an NHS provider, we are formally registered as a charity.
This means we are able to accept donations into our charitable funds to support worthwhile causes for our communities, service users and staff which go beyond the NHS core offer.
This could include supporting community-based groups, staff development projects or enhancing the therapeutic environments accessed by our patients, service users and their families.
Every donation we receive is important to us and we ensure the funds we raise are used to have a positive impact on the communities we serve.
You can view our annual charitable fund accounts on the
Charity Commission website
.

Our chosen charity of the year
A
s a caring organisation, staff and patients regularly raise money for many different causes. In 2018, we made the decision to pool our efforts and support one chosen charity each year.
Our staff voted Dementia UK as our chosen charity for 2019/20.
Money raised throughout the year will be divided between Dementia UK and our own Trust charitable funds at the end of the financial year.
How your money helps Dementia UK
Your support means Dementia UK can provide specialist admiral nurses to families affected by dementia. Admiral nurses work alongside families to give them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions they need to face dementia with more confidence and less fear.
