  • In line with national requirements, our executive leadership team is holding daily 'Gold command' meetings and we have created an internal incident management team to proactively manage this within our Trust.
  • We have set up a clinical reference/ethical group which is considering any clinical pathway changes, changes to visiting policy, changes to Mental Health Act etc.
  • All team managers are continuously reviewing their business continuity plans, including corporate services, and taking necessary actions to prioritise and maintain safe, patient care.
  • We have launched a friends and family scheme for our staff to refer people who may be able to help out through our temporary staff bank. This received a phenomenal 450 referrals in the first 24 hours.
  • We are monitoring staff attendance and looking at how we can redeploy people to maintain vital patient care and essential support services.
  • We are supporting staff who are also carers by providing paid carers' leave for an initial 14 days if they need it.
